UPDATE 8/20/2008 -- Rally Sons of Notre Dame! CC and the Irish tag team are back again. For the third consecutive year, Chet will host Notre Dame football on WLS Radio. Coppock says N.D. will go 8 and 4 and that Jimmy Claussen will throw a minimum of 24 touchdown passes. Meanwhile, CC continues to co-host "Talking Baseball" with his long-time pal Bruce Levine every Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM CT on ESPN Radio 1000 and hosts "Game Day" Sundays on ESPN from 9 AM to Noon CT.
UPDATE 5/21/2008 -- COPPOCK SPEAKS OUT! CC chats up southside memories and offers his thoughts on the current White Sox broadcast team -- among other things -- on whitesoxinteractive.com with his long time pal, sports journalist Mark Liptak. Spoiler Alert! Coppock says the Sox will grab AL Central glory in September with a total of 89 Ws. Check out the full interview with Chet!

UPDATE 8/20/2008 -- Have Tux, Will Travel... Over the past few months, Chet has emceed concerts featuring "America", "The Jive Five", Sonny Geraci from the "Outsiders" and original Buckinghams lead singer Denny Tufano. Coppock has also served as master of ceremonies for the midwest debut of Knute Rockne- All American.... Spokesman in Demand... Coppock has agreed to be a Chicago spokeman for SteinerSports.com, the official licensee of the New York Yankees, the Dallas Cowboys and Notre Dame University football. Chet also reupped with his long-time buddy John Coyne to continue as the spokesman for American Taxi, the most succcessful suburban cab service in the Chicagoland area.... Where to Catch CC Lately... Dave Abrams' "Sky Box on Sheffield, Ballo's restaurant on Dearborn Street, the Landmark Century Theatre on Clark, Merkle's in Wrigleyville and the press box level at U.S. Cellular Field.

CC MAKES THE ROUNDS -- Chet and his girlfriend Susanne were guests of the Chicago Blackhawks recently as the club honored Hall of Famers Bobby Hull and Stan Mikita. In the photo to the left, CC and Suzy are with the "Golden Jet" and WGN TV Buddy Dean Richards. Are Coppock and Bobby friends? Only for the past 38 or 39 years. CC is telling anybody who will listen that Blackhawk honchos John McDonough and Jay Blunk will engineer the Hawks to at least 15,000 season tickets during the upcoming offseason.
